    Half-point calculator using naive spread model

    The SBR half-point calculator assumes the probability of a game ending on a give margin is the same regardless of the teams playing. For example, for the calculator the probability of a game ending in a win by 5 points for the fav is the same whether the fav is favored by 1 or by 10 points. Of course this is naive and inaccurate, but it seems that the author of the calculator knows it, as he has included the following comment in the function that calculates the odds:

    just kludging it for now
    Also, the code is obfuscated and one has to wonder why, as obfuscating javascript code is an exercise in futility.

    It also is not dependent on the total. Basically worthless unless you just want to quickly check if an alternate line is WAY off. Or to find middle value.

    But if using the SBR half-point calc, you better have a huge edge to account for the error of the calc.
