Anyone want to help me get started with capping NFL?
I need some data for the upcoming season, I would appreciate any tips also that would help me successfully cap NFL. Maybe a link to a site with tips/data? I want to get a head start considering I am new at running numbers.

Get one of these and flip it
Seriously, if you want to make money on NFL, start with teasers and props. Then maybe look at quarters. Don't even think of betting full game sides and totals unless you really know what you are doing (or you are hitting off market #'s).

I would say start with NHL or MLB. NFL is the hardest to beat.

NFL isn't that hard to beat, but it may be the most work on a game-by-game basis (depending on method).
The first thing to do is to decide how good you want to be at the end of the process you're about to start.
Then you need to educate yourself about the basics (Justin's videos, books from gamblersbook.com, etc). Value the learning process as you would a college education.
Then pick any angle that you think may give you an edge, and submit it to a highly detailed analysis. You have to learn how to make effective models. Once you know how to do this (and how not to do it!) things get a lot easier.
Whenever you find yourself resisting the thought to look deeper, because it's too much work, realize that many others feel exactly the same way. Then go the extra mile.
Be careful, in real life or on forums, who you mix with. Hang out with those who know more than you, and avoid those who are undisciplined and associate a gambling lifestyle with losing.

One tip I can give you is.... Dont get caught up in the hype, any team can win any game in the NFL (PS or ML)

NFL is Vegas' moneymaker in my opinion. It's toughest one to handicap (at least for me, LoL!) and lines are damn sharp. In addition, there's not enough action, they're playing once a week. On the other side, we got action everynight in basketball, hockey and baseball. These sports are more profitable in my opinion.
Books are very confident with themselves when it comes to football betting. Of course, there's some skilled NFL cappers on earth, a guy in LV Hilton Contest was hitting over %65 if I recall correctly. Just follow these guys (and also some angles/trends as Dark Horse mentioned) and you'll be fine. Dark Horse is also a skilled capper
