There is a small glitch in my system. If you end up in a less popular group, that decreases your chances of advancing. There's nothing that can be done about this because the highest possible number for a poll is 21.
In order to combat this problem, I'm thinking of rather than having the 21 posters with the most number of votes move on, we should have the 21 posters with the highest % of votes in their group move on.
To illustrate this problem and the proposed solution, compare group B and group D. 42 people have voted in group B's poll while only 28 have voted in group D's poll. Under my proposal, Bread, who has 11 votes and 39.29% (11 out of the 28 people who have voted in the poll voted for Bread) would be higher ranked than rogue juror who has 14 votes and 33.33% (14/42). Check it out:
I think this is the only fair way to go. People shouldn't be punished just because they ended up in a less popular poll, that's just luck of the draw.
