Lions RB Jahvid Best has been officially placed on the teams reserve/PUP list.
Best won't be eligible to return until Week 8 at the earliest, though he remains without any sort of a timeline for a return. It's quite possible he won't play a snap this season. Kevin Smith (ankle injury) will likely open the season as the Lions' ball carrier, and likely be backed up by Keiland Williams until Mikel Leshoure returns from his 2-week suspension. Avoid Best in your drafts in all league formats.

Word on the street is that Steelers WR Mike Wallace is now expected to report to the Steelers camp tomorrow (Tuesday).
No reason as to why Wallace was a no show today. Either way, Wallace won't be eligible to practice with the team until next week thanks to the new CBA rules. That will give him just one week to get up to speed in new OC Todd Haley's offense. Expect Wallace to likely start off slow in the regular season. A little late on this one : The Cowboys and WR Dez Bryant have agreed to a strict set of rules regarding his off-field conduct.
The guidelines went into effect last Thursday. Per ESPN Dallas, Bryant has a midnight curfew and is NOT allowed to drink alcohol. He can NOT go to strip clubs, he must attend counseling sessions twice per week and will have a rotating security team with him at all times.
Bryant wants to become much more focused on the field. If Dez can abide by the guidelines and remain focused on football, he could be a serious threat for defenses. As of now he's been the on-field star of camp and hasn't been late to a practice or meeting yet. Bryant is a a SOLID No. 2 Fantasy WR that you can plan on targeting as early as Round 5.Comment -

Sometimes it is hard to get 12 or so people to have the time to draft live for 2 hours. You have to find the best possible day, so everyone can be there live.
I was pissed at my commish because he set up our draft for August 19th, the week before Preseason week 3. I always want to draft after week 3 of the Preseason.
With that being said, no one should draft the first week of August. That is just dumb.
