Who makes out on this trade?

I got offered morse and strasbourg for trumbo and millone. I've been using trumbo as an outfielder but I have 3 very good outfielders (bourne, ethier, and bruce) and one outfielder whos under producing this year (bj upston). You start 4 outfielders in my league. Pitchers I'd say produce the most points in my league and imo are more important

I guess it just comes down to whether or not I think Strasbourg will get shut down early this season or not

Mike Rizzo (Nationals GM) will definitely have a difficult decision to make in the next month or so...

I've always been a big believer in "winning now".

Washington's best strategy to win now is definitely with Strasburg on the bump all year.

I think this guy is trying to pull a fast one. Like you mentioned, Strasburg might be shut down early. His ERA has been steadily climbing since early June and he is 1-3 his last 4 decisions. I'd think about it twice before accepting.

I think theyd b ridiculous to shut him down, you never "know" your gna b good or not in years to come, other injuries could happen. They should go full force while they can.

Yea i think so too, and I was looking at it too and Millone has pitched ridic his last 5 starts so hopefully he'll keep it up, especially since A's are playing better as a team in general. Thanks guys

As dominant as Strasburg has been this season I wouldn't trade for him at this point. Like the others have stated, he has an inning limit set by team doctors to make sure he stays healthy this season. At any point he could be put on the DL for a phantom injury. I could easily see the Nats having him miss a couple starts to ensure that he's 100% for the playoffs and not overused when the seasons over.

I think I would stick with Trumbo side. I love Strasburg and I have him on my keeper team, but there is that big question mark. He could get shut down late when you need him.
