Footballguys view: Allen can work as a blocker and receiver for any team he goes to. The Patriots would have interest in him coming back at a lower price. Given the reported interest in the veteran tight end that doesn't seem likely to happen.

Footballguys view: This contradicts earlier reports indicating the Broncos were one of the teams most intrigued by the veteran receiver. The move never made sense for Denver as they have a duo of young receivers (Courtland Sutton, DaeSean Hamilton) and Emmanuel Sanders as their top three targets.

Footballguys view: Anderson's college career at Oklahoma can be summed up by the saying 'what might have been.' Injuries in multiple seasons derailed what was looking to be a promising time with the Sooners. He's flashed enough power and ability at 220 pounds to get interest as a fourth-round pick if his medical tests are positive.

Footballguys view: A fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, Hill has far outplayed his rookie contract. It's not outlandish to think he could become the highest paid receiver in the league. That title currently belongs to Odell Beckham Jr. at $18 million annual average salary.

That does not mean that he will not eventually be traded or at least be shopped, however.

Footballguys view: Will they or won't they? The Cardinals seemed destined to take QB Kyler Murray (Oklahoma) no.1 overall just a week ago at the Scouting Combine. Now, it seems like that might have cooled just a bit. There's no telling what's going to happen but reports indicate teams are checking in on the availability of Rosen.

Cowboys | Jason Witten officially back
Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten was officially signed to a one-year, $2 million contract Wednesday, March 6. Witten can make up to $5 million, however. The Cowboys had to release Witten from the Reserve/Retired list before making the signing official.

Footballguys view: And here we go again. Witten should play a part-time role for the Cowboys offense this year. That is unlikely to make him much of a fantasy factor in 2019.

Footballguys view: The Colts have over $100 million to spend in free agency. They are looking for upgrades at the wide receiver position for guys behind T.Y. Hilton. Williams has a nice size/speed combination and is looking for a larger role than he had with the Chargers in recent years. It seems like a good fit on paper, we'll see if this comes to fruition.

Redskins | Washington agrees to acquire Case Keenum
Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum will be acquired by the Washington Redskins in exchange for a 2020 sixth-round draft choice, according to a source. The Redskins will also receive a 2020 seventh-round draft choice in the deal. Keenum has also agreed to restructure his contract. The Broncos will pay $3.5 million of his 2019 salary, while the Redskins will pay the other $3.5 million. He will also receive a $500,000 bonus from the Broncos.

Footballguys view: Washington has to have a starter in place while Alex Smith tries to come back from his horrific leg injury. Smith may never play football again, so don't be surprised if Washington adds a quarterback in the draft too. Keenum failed as a starter with the Broncos for one year and will compete with Colt McCoy to be Washington's starter in 2019.

Footballguys view: Brown certainly wants a lot. He wants to be traded from Pittsburgh and he wants a new deal for whatever team he lands with. The Raiders might be posturing here.

I know he’s bagging on Big Ben, but from what I recall, when Ben was hurt an extended period a couple of years ago, AB’s numbers were just average. I think he may be thinking too highly of himself.

Dallas Cowboys WR Allen Hurns, OL Joe Looney and LB Joe X. Thomas had their 2019 options exercised Friday, March 8.

Footballguys view: The Cowboys have previously stated they want Hurns back for 2019. Hurns has to get healthy from an ankle injury suffered in the playoffs but he should be good to go by training camp.

Raiders | Oakland agrees to Antonio Brown trade
Updating an ongoing saga, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown will be traded to the Oakland Raiders, per a source. The verbal agreement reached will send 2019 third-round and fifth-round picks to Pittsburgh, and Oakland will add $30.125 million in guaranteed money to the remaining three years of Brown's contract. The deal is worth $50.125 million with incentives to reach a maximum value of $54.125.

Dolphins | Dwayne Allen joining Miami
Free-agent TE Dwayne Allen (Patriots) will sign with the Miami Dolphins, he told ESPN's Josina Anderson Saturday, March 9. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the deal is a two-year pact worth $7 million, per a source.

Footballguys view: That didn't take long. Allen was released by the Patriots about a week ago and had more than a few teams interested in his services. With the Dolphins, Allen should work as a blocker while second-year pro Mike Gesicki should take a step forward as the receiving tight end.
