100 point weekly contest: NCAA Fantasy Football

Good evening everyone:

I've been wanting to run a contest like this for real money; however most of my friends aren't interested. Not enough total degenerates are in my life.

So why not try it here? We're all degenerates

I'm going to run a weekly 100 point CFB fantasy contest similar to FanDuel/Draftkings/etc

Here are the rules:

- Cost is 100 points a week.
- You don't have to turn in a lineup every week. Just like Daily Fantasy it's if you're interested in a certain Saturday and have the 100 pts to play.
- I will only be accepting players that play on that Saturday or Sunday.
- Please PM me your lineup and have points over to me by 11AM EST on that Saturday. I will try to get up a list of everyone's plays by noon EST. I'll keep them within this thread.
- You can choose from any FBS team
- Scoring will be made easier than your normal fantasy football contest, seeing as how I'll have to tally the scores by hand. Here's the positions and how they'll be scored:

1 QB: 0.1 pts per passing/running yard; 6 pts per TD (either pass or run)
2 RB: 0.1 pts per run/reception yard; 6 pts per TD (either run or receiving)
2 WR: 0.1 pts per run/reception yard; 6 pts per TD (either run or receiving)
1 TE: 0.1 pts per run/reception yard; 6 pts per TD (either run or receiving)
1 Flex (RB/WR/TE): 0.1 pts per run/reception yard; 6 pts per TD (either run or receiving)

- I will be using stats provided by ESPN only

I was thinking of doing payouts as such:

1-5 participants: Winner takes it all
6-10 participants: 2nd place gets 100; winner gets the rest
10-20 people: 3rd gets 100; 2nd 25% of what's left; 1st 75% of what's left

I'm still working out the kinks; if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Like I said it's a College Football fantasy contest, any of the 125 teams in Division 1 (FBS) to choose from, only offensive players.... feel free to pick Darnold at QB every week if you want, no limit on number of times you can choose any player.

Your points will be transferred the next day sometime while I'm picking losers in the NFL.

I have the Phil Steele CFB guide; I was just gonna look through that and see who's gonna be good and find some players.

I never thought of that before. Actually I'm fine with a person taking an FBS player against an FCS team. Whatever matchup anyone thinks will work best, go ahead and use it to your advantage.

If everyone else is fine with it I'll substitute those players in. It's not like any kind of edge was gained here.

Thanks. I really was just throwing darts looking at the week 1 projection rankings. Too many teams played Thursday and Friday so a bunch of the guys on top already played. Originally almost my whole team were players that already played. Caught them all except OKST. no wonder on one picked James Washington
