David Price Throws Bullpen Session for First Time Since Being Shut Down
David Price (elbow) threw approximately 25 pitches in a bullpen session Monday.

It was his first bullpen session since he was shut down with a left elbow injury in early March. Jen McCaffrey of MassLive.com writes that Price threw all fastballs and said he felt good. The southpaw will continue to ramp things up in bullpen sessions for now before facing hitters and eventually getting into game action. If all goes well, the hope is that he could rejoin Boston's rotation at some point in May.

Hope the guy bounce back. Seems like a good guy. He's definitely on the decline though

Wow, Each pitch thrown is probably worth $1.1M...because this may be all he does this season.

I don't know, but there sure are a lot of players getting paid big money to do nothing. In the wrong business, I am.

Wow he might be much longer to recover. Lack of control says he will be making rehab starts much longer

Red Sox +135 to win the AL East was the easiest sucker bet in the MLB this season. I threw a decent sized futures bet on Astros +120 to win the AL West, and it's already over haha.

But yeah Sox were a complete sucker bet. You can't build a super team in baseball without chemistry, and everybody just assumed that slopping Price, Sale, etc together was just gonna equal dominance. It doesn't help that Porcello is a mediocre pitcher at his core.

Al East so loaded, not easy to win that.

The only thing Price is doing at this point is robbing the Red Sox blind.
