Tristan Thompson Doubtful for Cavaliers Wednesday

Thompson did not travel to Boston for Wednesday's game in order to have a precautionary MRI on his thumb after hurting it during Tuesday's win over the Magic. There is still a chance Thompson could catch a later flight to Boston, but for now, the odds of that happening seem unlikely. For what it's worth, initial X-rays on Thompson's thumb came back negative. If Thompson misses Wednesday's game, Channing Frye or Richard Jefferson would start.
