I may need to get a 2nd job myself after the casino run this weekend. I know the book says to split/double down when the dealer is showing a 5/6....however that kicked my ass all weekend. Sad thing was, there was normally a face card under as well. Then came the 3/4/5.

It was so bad that the wife said she's staying away from the tables in the D.R. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm taking the under 10 minutes after the meet and greet is over on Saturday.

thanks Matty.....was working under a 3 year contract at the course I'm at now.....new owners decided they wanted to have their own people & not our management co (been with them 15 years now) so want to keep me but not the 3 guys who work under me. So I need to decide to stay here and change companies or stay at current company and relocate.......lots of decisions...home...401k....etc

If possible, relocate with current company. Chance new guys keep you around long enough just to show their guys all the ropes then move on from you.

If possible, relocate with current company. Chance new guys keep you around long enough just to show their guys all the ropes then move on from you.

thanks DS....thought about that as well.....would probably push for a longer contract with them to ease some of those fears
