Think you have to go with Trout. After him , Harper , and Goldshmidt , I am really high on Carlos Correa. Kid is special and he plays SS so you get a big edge at a position similar to Gronk at TE in Football.

Smart move, Trout is the best 5-category guy. My top 4 in order are Trout-Goldschmidt-Harper-Donaldson. I get that Kershaw is a GOD, but I prefer to stack offense first (preferably at all 5 categories if possible) and wait on pitching. There are always pitchers that come our of nowhere to post career seasons every year.

Also, if you play rotisserie, like I do, it's a really bad week when you're 1st round ace has a bad game, and you have to wait another 5 days to see your 1st round ace play again.
Then you gotta watch Harper McCutheon, Donaldson rack up some of those offensive #'s that you need

i would only take Kershaw in the first round in a points league. other than that, as LT said, you can find quality starters in the final rounds and a few will come out of no where and can be had on FA.

Nice player but definitely a reach at 4. Then again, if the owner REALLY wanted him, then he had no choice because Correa would not have gotten back to him.

Yeah prolly what his thinking was, that he needed to reach a little for him here cause he wouldn't have made it back. Heck I wanted him at 12. I got Altuve at 12 anyway so I am happy about that

If it was a keeper league then I could understand. He might still turn out OK though.
