Could be a lot of money in making pads that prevent this. It's almost always the non-throwing arm too. Make the QB sacrifice a little mobility there in exchange for more safety.

Treatment is the same as it's always been I think. Arm in a sling, let it heal on its own. Kinda like when you break a toe.

Yes --pain pills and isolate movement. if this a real compound break his neck area will turn from blue to green to yellow from internal bleeding. At least he right handed, but any muscle twitch sends the active nerves alive with pain. from experience. gl all. a figure 8 sling is much better than a usual arm sling.

Weeden is a solid backup with starting potential. He's not on par with Romo but he will have games that make the Dallas faithful question whether he should be the starter. One of the better backups in the league.

Romo is a top 5 QB in the NFL. Anyone who can't see that after his past couple of years is simply a dumbfukk who knows nothing about football.

I agree that Weeden is a solid backup, but this is a HUGH blow. HUGH!

If the D can play like they've been playing, and Weeden can steer the ship to let's say a 3-3 or 3-4 record, then I still think we're in good shape. We'll have both Tony & Dez back by mid to late November, so starting out 2-0 against division opponents was a big deal.
