Frankly I don't think Kazmir will make THAT much of a difference for Houston, it is not like he is a game-changer, his ERA this season is very fluky. Leaving O.Co Coliseum hurts too.

They needed to pick up a reliable starter because of the innings count that McCullers and Velasquez are on for this season. Neither one of them could potentially be available for the playoffs.

ripped come playoff time. They are just not ready at this point.

Neither one has any business pitching in a MLB playoff game at this point in their career.
