MIN - RB Adrian Peterson working out
Source: ESPN.com - Ben Goessling
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has been working out with RB Jerick McKinnon and WR Mike Wallace since offseason workouts ended.

You like to hear this, especially in the cases of McKinnon and Wallace. Peterson's workout ethic is pretty epic, so hopefully that will rub off on both players. McKinnon is a guy to watch, as there is a chance Peterson may be closing out his time in Minnesota, and McKinnon could be his eventual replacement. For this year, McKinnon is no more than a handcuff for Peterson, perhaps an RB4. Wallace was a bit of a stiff in Miami, but could do well in Minnesota if he applies himself. We see him as a WR3 right now, although his ceiling and floor are both a bit beholden to the development of Teddy Bridgewater. Peterson is, naturally a solid RB1.

DET - RB Ameer Abdullah just wants to contribute
Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett
Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah is just hoping to contribute to the team during his rookie season in 2015. 'Offensively, I feel like I can go in there and I can help out the team, but if that's not my calling for this year, definitely special teams. If that's not my calling this year, I'm going to be the best scout player in the country,' said Abdullah.

It's a crowded backfield in Detroit. Right now the pecking order is Joique Bell, Theo Riddick and Abdullah, but we wouldn't be shocked if Abdullah had a significant role by the end of the season. Right now, Abdullah is ranked by us at about an RB4 level, while Bell is a low-end RB2 or a solid RB3. Interestingly, both players have an ADP in the sixth round right now, which means people are pulling the trigger on Adbullah very early.

NYJ - WR Devin Smith struggling to adjust
Source: NJ Advance Media - Dom Cosentino
New York Jets WR Devin Smith struggled to adjust to the multiple spots and routes he had to learn to run during offseason workouts, according to wide receivers coach Karl Dorrell.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This isn't a huge shock, though the Jets are likely disappointed since they were thinking he might steal targets from Jeremy Kerley. This is why we don't bet on rookie wide receivers in fantasy football though - the learning curve is very steep even for the best of them. Right now we see Smith as no better than a WR6 and he's going undrafted according to recent ADP polls.

CLE - Former QB praises QB Johnny Manziel
Source: NFL.com - Conor Orr
Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel is trending in the right direction, former QB Elvis Grbac said. 'It's obviously a learning experience,' Grbac said. 'I think he's going in the right direction. He's on the right path. I think it'll be somewhat of a rude awakening the first couple games of the season and he will have to adjust.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
I'm not sure if Grbac saw last season, but I think Manziel's already had a fairly "rude awakening". We see McCown as the guy there for now but here are our detailed stat projections for the entire team.

IND - WR Donte Moncrief could be returner
Source: Colts.com - Kevin Bowen
Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief is a candidate to return kicks this season, according to special teams coach Tom McMahon.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Colts wide receivers corps is a bit stacked right now, so getting Moncrief on the field for returns makes a ton of sense. With Andre Johnson and T.Y. Hilton in the lineup, it's possible Moncrief could end up with a lot less targets. So the Colts would naturally try to utilize his abilities in other ways. This helps GMs a little bit in leagues that give you points for returns but he's still no more than a WR5.
