Chi Chi was charged with the two runs the Dodgers scored in the ninth inning after tossing eight scoreless innings. Final stat line was two runs allowed on just five hits in 8.1 innings. He now has a 0.90 ERA through four starts with just 18 hits allowed in 30 innings.

Yep, his first bad start. So now each rookie has had one stinker, let's see if Gonzalez bounced back next time out as well as Rodriguez did.

You called it. He'll probably end the season with an ERA above 3.5.

I'm going to break this down for the slow-minded people here. Take your time, and read very slowly to grasp it all.

There are two leagues. American and National.

Each league awards one Rookie of the Year Award.

LT Profits was asking about ROY in the AMERICAN league.

Joc Peterson plays for the Dodgers who is in the NATIONAL league.

Kris Bryant plays for the Cubs who is in the NATIONAL league. Same goes for Schwarber.

Joc Peterson and Kris Bryant are therefore irrelevant to the conversation in this thread.

Do not argue that Rodriguez or any other rookie in the American league cannot win ROY because Joc Peterson is better. Same thing with Kris Bryant. It is a dumb argument because they can both win it.

                                        That is all.
