#55NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Browns "covet" Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.
Rapoport reported earlier this evening that the Browns were exploring a trade into the top 10 and have talked with the Redskins about a move to No. 5 overall. That's unlikely to land Cleveland Mariota, who will likely be a top-two pick, and at the very least come off the board at No. 3 overall where the Jaguars would probably love to trade back. The Browns have ammo at their disposal.

#59If Jags stay at #3, they may take Amari Cooper. They are not in market for a QB (that's IF Mariota is still sitting there) after just drafting Bortles last year.
One AFC personnel man says the Jaguars like Alabama WR Amari Cooper "more than they are letting on."
There continues to be a lot of smoke around Cooper at No. 3. Although the Jags have Allen Robinson locked in at X, they've been desperately trying to surround Blake Bortles with as many weapons as possible. GM Dave Caldwell dumped a truckload of money on Julius Thomas and made an unsuccessful play for Randall Cobb. Cooper can play both slot and Z, much like Marqise Lee.

#64If Mariota does not go #2, he could drop more than some people think. (Although I think he does go #2).
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Jaguars, Raiders, and Redskins are all "very open to moving down" in the first round of the draft.
Jacksonville, Oakland, and Washington sit in order at Nos. 3, 4, and 5. We're not sure who a team would be wanting to come up for, but it's likely a receiver like Amari Cooper, a pass rusher like Dante Fowler, or DL Leonard Williams.Comment -

#65Titans are not taking MM. That is not happening.
Jets need to make a push for this guy. They've got a good D with some great players on it, some pieces on offense. Grab a qb and push for a wild card. Chan gailey is OC and he's worked with mobile guys in the past, he knows how to make it work and tailor an offense around MMs strengths. No way todd Bowles took that job to have geno fukkin smith as his qb. They need to make it happen and finally bring a qb to jets nationComment -

#67I love the Bills and loved Watkins, who was arguably the best player in last year's draft; I was happy to see them trade up to lose only a #19 this year. That said, I think Cooper is on par with what Watkins was in college. Both dominating and super explosive. Why not at #3 if you need a WR?Comment -

#69Either that or the Titans go ahead and take him and trade him afterwards. I guess technically that does mean he is "going" to the Titans, so I guess I should clarify my statement by saying I think he goes #2 but may never PLAY for the Titans.Comment -

Just saw this too:
- Buccaneers GM Jason Licht tells Ed Werder that trade inquiries for the No. 1 overall pick are starting to increase.
