Kris Bryant Being Called Up by Cubs Friday
    That did not take long!

Jesse Rogers of ESPN Chicago reports that top prospect third baseman Kris Bryant will be called up by the Cubs on Friday.

April 17 was the scheduled day that fans had targeted, knowing that's all it took for the Cubs to gain an extra year of team control for the budding superstar. Bryant put on a show in his final game at Triple-A Iowa, blasting a three-run homer. He's likely to be immediately slotted in as the team's everyday third baseman.

Hope is not like the "heralded" Will Middlebrooks the Red Sox had, what a bust he was.

I think CB will be legit..he's 6'4 over 230lbs been hitting the cover off the ball in Cactus league and down in AAA...Plus he steals bags.
No Effin way he pans out to be ShittleBrooks...If I was a Cubs fan this would get be jacked up..hopefully he can make a dent off Big Game James

he might have 20 errors by the all star game

but might have 20 HRs as well

can't determine if he will be over, under, or just rated until he plays a few years

he should be one of many important pieces the cubs are putting together
