DeMarcus Cousins will play against the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday.

Coach George Karl said on Monday he would think about resting Cousins on the road, so this is a mild surprise. Cousins' fantasy owners can start him tonight in what should be a productive game with Rudy Gay (concussion) out. The other Kings' players aren't going to have as high of a ceiling.

Why everybody think cousins is really that big of a factor? That fool olays in garbage times to rack up stats all the time. Dont give a shit about him.. His attitude sucks and his basketiq is very low. Guy use muscles to intimidate other players but it dont usually work. Hes just a bit better than that garbage JT.

He is one lazy mother fukker. Guy needs a coach that will make him work hard and play some defense.

George Karl cannot motivate these players he is an old fat balding white man and these men are young and black... they need someone they can relate to. Someone they can look to for guidance. Somebody like the coach for UCONN would be a perfect fit.

Cousins can be his worst enemy, but I disagree with argument that he has a low basketball IQ. No, he'll never be a Sabonis or Gasol, but he's proving himself to be an adept passer and the offense works when it runs through him.

The problem is that the Kings' starting pg, McCallum, is still learning the role. His tendency is to want to push the pace (other Kings want to run too), which effectively makes the big guy the last to cross half court. What's more, outside of Gay, who can be streaky and take wild shots, the Kings don't have many guys that can create their own offense. There's a lot of running back and forth without positive results and Cousins is never going to fair well in that kind of game.

If the Kings had a seasoned PG starting at the helm, they'd know to slow the pace, run plays through Cousins and let him generate quality opportunities or to wait and let Cousins set a semi truck screen for them. 95% of the teams in the NBA do not have a one on one solution to stopping Cousins.

Cousins is used to being the man on any team he has ever played. I saw him play in high school a few times in the state championship. He just needs to be the second best player on the team to be a winner, he can't be the best player on a team and win it all
