Suns Likely to Trade Goran Dragic?
Nothing is imminent right now, but it seems Phoenix will do its best to unload him by Thursday.

The Suns intend to honor Goran Dragic's trade request and will work to deal him prior to Thursday's deadline, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.

Dragic told the Suns that he plans to leave in free agency this summer, according to USA Today's Sam Amick, so Phoenix may be willing to trade him below market value to avoid losing him for nothing in a few months. He's been a steady top-70 fantasy value this season despite the arrival of Isaiah Thomas but a move elsewhere would almost certainly prove beneficial for the value of Dragic, Thomas and Eric Bledsoe. The Kings, Rockets and Lakers are all interested in Dragic, and Amick reports that there are "seven or eight teams" who qualify as "serious suitors" -- meanwhile, Dragic's camp is apparently lobbying for a deal with the Lakers, Knicks or Heat. No trade is imminent and it remains to be seen what the Suns will demand as compensation for their star 28-year-old PG. Stay tuned.

Lakers/Knicks/Heat? Him or his agent has not watched the NBA since the late 1990's I guess.

It's because these foreign players want to be near the big cities. Rubio Wants to be in NY also.

Even though Dragic is more of a scorer (he's no Drazen Petrovic), Rubio would be a better fit for New York and what Phil Jackson is looking for. I'd love to see Rubio at the Garden. The MSG fans would take to him in a milisecond.

I really hope that Gogi signs with Miami, but from what I've heard, Luol Deng will have to go. Anyways, it would be nice seeing Dragić-Wade-Bosh-Whiteside in action. That will give Miami better chance to make the Playoffs.

Nice thought, but in all reality, Wade should hang it up and call it a career. This guy is lucky to play half a season. Great player in his day, but that is long over with. Just my opinion.

Dragic and Reg Jackson both openly being shopped and both could put up big numbers on a bad team or be nice parts of the bench or starting unit on playoff teams.

He's not giving up just yet. His numbers are pretty decent concerning the fact, that he can't stay healthy for the whole season. But you're right though, he can call it a career in a year or 2. Right now, Miami Heat isn't the same team without him. And it definitely won't be the same team, when he retires.

Even if he's not traded to one of those teams he's still a FA after this year, I say the Heat with Bosh and Wade is his best fit for winning. The Suns won't get crap for him with that info out. He's going where he wants next year.

Nobody is turning around the Knicks this year, or the Lakers. They are done.

Looks like he's frustrated without a clear path to minutes...only way I could see him wanting to go to any of those 3 teams. He'd probably have the biggest role on the Lakers...

He wants a big contract and he wants the ball in his hands, the better the team is the LESS likely it is able to provide these things.

Stay tuned.

Pat Riley is a fykin' genius. Dragić-Wade-Deng-Bosh-Whiteside lineup is awesome. I'm really happy about this trade.
