KC - S Eric Berry may have lymphoma
    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher
Kansas City Chiefs SS Eric Berry (illness) underwent an MRI on his chest, which revealed a mass in his chest. The team believes he has lymphoma, but there is no definite diagnosis.

A scary situation for Berry and his family as they move forward here. Thoughts and Prayers from the Footballguys family.

NYG - Odell Beckham Jr. should be OK
Source: New York Daily News - Ralph Vacchiano
New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (back) has a sore back and could be limited in practice this week. Head coach Tom Coughlin said he should be OK, however.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Beckham is more than okay...he's a star on the rise. The sore back was a small concern because Beckham plays all out and he leaves everything on the field. He's a must start every week for fantasy owners.

WAS - Robert Griffin will start Week 13
Source: NFL Network - Albert Breer
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III will start Sunday, Nov. 30, against the Indianapolis Colts, according to head coach Jay Gruden.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Griffin might be on a short leash if he continues to struggle as the team's starter. His mechanics have been bad this year, and that's negatively impacting his accuracy. We'll see if Griffin can turn it around and keep the starting job for the rest of the season. There's already questions swirling around his future with the team and if they should start looking for another franchise quarterback.

OAK - RB Latavius Murray sitting out
    Source: CSNBayArea.com - Scott Bair
Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray (concussion) is not participating in practice Monday, Nov. 24.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Murray will go through the NFL's concussion protocol before returning to practice. Check back later in the week to see if he's been cleared (likely Friday).

TB - Lovie Smith calls out O-line
    Source: ESPN.com - Pat Yasinskas
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith said the team's offensive line needs to do a better job after they rushed for a total of 66 yards in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. Smith also said the team's pass blocking wasn't at its best. 'A defense can tee off on you once you can't run the football,' Smith said. 'We talk an awful lot about being a balanced attack. But when you can't run it consistently that hurts. Believe me, we don't want to be a team that's passing the ball that much.'
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We agree with Lovie here. The Bucs offensive line is brutally bad, and they're not creating much rushing room for any of the backs on the roster. Until that changes, we only consider guys like Doug Martin or Charles Sims as 'what the heck' flex plays.

TB - RB Jorvorskie Lane to have surgery
    Source: ESPN.com - Pat Yasinskas
Tampa Bay Buccaneers FB Jorvorskie Lane (ankle) will have surgery on his broken right ankle Tuesday, Nov. 25, and he'll miss the rest of the year. Lane is unsure how long he'll take to recover.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Buccaneers are left without a true fullback, and they'll likely sign one. TE Luke Stocker has served as a fullback at times.

HOU - Houston wants QB Ryan Mallett back
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Houston Texans QB Ryan Mallett has been informed by the team that they would like him to return in 2015, according to a source.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's nice and all, but nothing is guaranteed. Mallett is going to hit free agency coming off only two starts and a pectoral injury that ended his season. It would be interesting to see if the Texans want to keep him around because of his rocket arm and familiarity with Bill O'Brien.

SD - Bolts managing RB Ryan Mathews' touches
    Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams
San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (knee, shoulder) has 175 rushing yards in two games since returning from a knee injury, but he's carried the ball an average of 14 times in those two games, with just four carries in the fourth quarter and two in the red zone. Head coach Mike McCoy said that team is monitoring Mathews' touches as he makes his way back from injury. RBs Branden Oliver and Donald Brown are still being sprinkled in. Mathews suffered a shoulder injury in the second half but returned to the game, and the injury isn't considered serious.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's wise for the team to treat Mathews this way. He's a talented back, but Mathews has been oft-injured during his pro career. As he gets healthier, his role could increase.

HOU - QB Thaddeus Lewis to sign
    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
The Houston Texans will sign free-agent QB Thaddeus Lewis (Bills), according to a source.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Lewis is a veteran quarterback who has bounced around the league. He's athletic and has a strong arm, but Lewis has some problems with accuracy. Lewis gives the Texans veteran depth behind Ryan Fitzpatrick. Their other QB on the roster is rookie fourth-round pick Tom Savage.

DAL - QB Tony Romo takes part in walkthrough
    Source: ESPNDallas.com - Todd Archer
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) is participating in the team's walkthrough Monday, Nov. 24.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is a great sign for Romo. The Cowboys had a late bye week, and that helped Romo gets some rest for the playoff push.

NYG - Odell Beckham Jr. receives praise
    Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano
New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. was praised by QB Eli Manning following Sunday night's performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Manning said Beckham has explosiveness and speed coming out of breaks.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Manning should be praising the super-talented rookie. Beckham almost seems superhuman out there with his insane body control and ability to make circus catches seem routine. Manning also lauded Beckham's catching ability, route-running and being able to stop on a dime.

TEN - RB Dexter McCluster has concussion
    Source: NFL.com
Tennessee Titans RB Dexter McCluster (concussion) is going through the concussion protocol after suffering a concussion in Week 12.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Titans will monitor him closely as he goes through the protocol. McCluster will need to be cleared by an independent doctor before he's cleared to resume practicing.

DEN - PK Connor Barth to visit Denver
Source: The Denver Post - Mike Klis
Free-agent PK Connor Barth (Buccaneers) will visit the Denver Broncos Tuesday, Nov. 25, for a kicking audition, according to sources.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Denver's kicker Brandon McManus missed a 33-yard field goal against the Dolphins. He's on thin ice, and fantasy owners need to know he could be replaced in the near future.

TEN - RB Bishop Sankey does not have concussion
    Source: NFL.com
Tennessee Titans RB Bishop Sankey (stinger) suffered a stinger in Week 12 and did not suffer a concussion, according to head coach Ken Whisenhunt.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's a positive sign for Sankey. He won't have to go through the concussion protocol, but he might be limited in practice this week.

IND - TE Dwayne Allen day-to-day
    Source: Colts.com - Kevin Bowen
Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen (ankle) is considered day-to-day but looks to be trending in the right direction, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Pagano is not sure if Allen will be able to practice this week. Fantasy owners need to check back to see what his status is later in the week--specifically to see if he can practice on Friday.

PHI - WR Jordan Matthews practices in full
    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com
Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (knee) fully participated in practice Monday, Nov. 24.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Matthews has a strong connection with quarterback Mark Sanchez. We consider him a WR3/flex play every week because of that on-field chemistry.

WAS - RB Alfred Morris no longer overthinking
    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim
Washington Redskins RB Alfred Morris, who ran 21 times for 126 yards in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, gained most of his yardage after contact and entered the game against the Niners averaging 1.95 yards after contact. He's averaging 5.39 yards per carry in the last three games, according to ESPN Stats & Information. “I stopped hesitating,” Morris said of his improved running. “I was trying to see too much.”
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Washington offense is pretty much a dumpster fire outside of Morris. The tough-running back did his fantasy owners a solid in Sunday. Week 12 was Morris' first 100-yard effort of the year, and he's fifth in rushing with 826 yards.
