Fitzpatrick Could be Starter for Texans Again
Not because Mallet stunk on Sunday (which he did for the most part) but because he suffered a pectoral injury that could be a tear.

That might explain all those ducks flying around yesterday. HOU is done in that tough AFC wildcard race.

Maybe the coach should be changed.

Put jj watt in at qb. Can't do any worse than Fitz.

True, Fitz shouldn't even be in the league.

Fitz is fine holding a clip board and maybe going 2-2 when the starter goes down, but never was a true #1 QB.

man if schaub didn't have the lisfranc injury, he'd still be their qb and they'd have much better chance at making the playoffs.

not sure why but after that injury the guy was never the same.

I'm all for it, but it's too late in the season. If he went 4-1 or something then Houston would have to deal with a "circus" and not be able to draft some can't miss once in a lifetime prospect for next season. It almost like he's blackballed. It would take some renegade coach, like Gruden going back to Oakland, for Tebow to ever have a chance of making an NFL Team again.

Besides, talking about Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, and Aldon Smith is far more interesting anyway.

Schaub had that injury in 2011. 2012 was one of Schaub's best years with HOU going 12-4 and a playoff win. 2013 was when the wheels came off for Schaub, but looking back, HOU went thru a stretch playing SF, SEA, BAL, STL some pretty murderous defenses. I'm not sure if it broke Schaub's spirit or the franchise lost faith or what happened there. But I don't think Schaub's issue was physical, it was mental.
