They could have sold out the carrier dome. Especially since Marrone recently coached at Syracuse. Syracuse has many Bills and Jet fans.

Jets vs. Bills is in Detroit Monday night at 7:00 ET. That is 1.5 hours before the regular Ravens vs. Saints Monday nighter at 8:30 so still unsure what TV networks are doing.

It would something to watch, cause nothing else is, but they will probably go with a Monday night double header like they've done in the past which sucks.

I assume didn't want to give Jets unfair advantage as the road team when there were other viable options. As mentioned, Detroit is only about 250 miles away from Buffalo. That is actually closer than Buffalo to Meadowlands, which is like 360 miles.

Buffalo already beat them in the Meadowlands, but I didn't know Detroit was closer. Hell, they could have played @ Gillette stadium where they are both used to losing, it might have been a tie. LOL.

giants got an extra home game with Hurricane Katrina though, the NFL did move that game to Giants Stadium even though the Saints were supposed to be home
