CIN - RB Giovani Bernard OUT - RB Jeremy Hill to start in Week 9
Source: ESPN.com - Cole Harvey
Cincinnati Bengals RB Jeremy Hill will start in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars with RB Giovani Bernard (hip) ruled out. The team is also unsure if Bernard will be able to play in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns Thursday, Nov. 6, according to head coach Marvin Lewis. Hill has 195 yards and three touchdowns on 50 carries this year. Offensive coordinator Hue Jackson is confident that Hill can carry the load with Bernard out. RBs Cedric Peerman and Rex Burkhead will also see repetitions.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hill should get at least 20 touches in a game the Bengals should control against the Jaguars. We can't think of a reason to leave him on your bench this week.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) is listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora believes Green will be active.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Bengals have a very winnable matchup against the Jaguars, so one would assume that they wouldn't rush Green back onto the field. Mohamed Sanu's attractiveness as a WR or flex option this week is affected by Green's status, although Green seems like a must-start if the Bengals deem him ready to play.

DAL - QB Tony Romo could be game-time call
Source: ESPNDallas.com - Todd Archer
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) missed his third straight day of practice Friday, Oct. 31, and he'll have to be able to move better before being allowed to play in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Jason Garrett said the team doesn't need to know before Sunday, Nov. 2, if Romo can play. Romo has had treatment on his back all week, but he hasn't done any football activities. QB Brandon Weeden would receive the start if Romo can't play.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Our Dr. Jene Bramel said Romo probably only has a 50-50 shot of finishing the game if he does start. Don't risk him in your lineup. The good news is that Brandon Weeden was actually serviceable and could keep Dez Bryant's value afloat, and give some encouragement to Jason Witten and Terrance Williams owners.

Source: CBSCleveland.com - Daryl Ruiter
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) didn't practice all week, and he won't be available to play in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also missed two games in 2012 and one last year due to concussions. TEs Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge will carry the load without Cameron playing. Dray has nine catches for 118 yards and a touchdown this year, while Barnidge has five grabs for 54 yards.

Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (ankle) practiced in full for the third straight day Friday, Oct. 31, and is probable for Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Griffin is still a very risky play in his first game back from injury, but if he looks good in the Jay Gruden offense we've only gotten to watch him in for a little over a game, it could be a preview of a solid second half in fantasy leagues for him.

San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (knee) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and has been ruled out for the team's Week 9 game.

New York Jets WR Percy Harvin played 44 of 84 snaps in his debut with the team in Week 8, lining up in the backfield and running some deep routes. The Jets are making it a point to immediately get the ball into his hands.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Harvin had three targets 30 yards or more downfield, and he should continue to lead the team in targets in addition to getting some touches as a runner. His value certainly hasn't gone down since being traded away from the Seahawks.

Britt will get a chance to be the #1 receiver for the Rams in the second half of the season. He's worth rostering to see what happens against the 49ers this week as a sign of what is to come down the stretch, but the odds are against him in the Brian Schottenheimer offense with Austin Davis at QB.

CLE - Isaiah Crowell wants to be more involved
Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich
Cleveland Browns RB Isaiah Crowell, who played just three snaps and had one carry for one yard in Week 8, is hoping he'll be more involved in the game plan in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. RB Ben Tate played 31 of 56 snaps and had 15 carries for 26 yards last week, while RB Terrance West played 22 snaps and had seven carries for 11 yards. Crowell continues to lead the team in average yards per carry (4.9) and rushing touchdowns (four). He dropped two pitches and had a fumble in Week 6, but Crowell insists that he doesn't have ball-security issues.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Crowell appears to be the most talented back on Cleveland's roster and the Browns have expressed a desire for one back to emerge, but he hasn't gotten that shot yet because of fumbles and practice performances. The loss of all-world center Alex Mack has taken the luster off of the most dominant running game of the first half of the season, so chasing Crowell's speculation value is also losing its shine, but don't be surprised if he finishes the season atop the depth chart.

San Francisco 49ers WR Stevie Johnson, who is behind WRs Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree and Brandon Lloyd on the depth chart, isn't frustrated by his role in the offense. Johnson has 25 catches for 315 yards and three touchdowns this year, and he had 1,000 yards receiving in three of his four years with the Buffalo Bills. “No frustration at all,” Johnson said. “(The) only sense of frustration is being a competitor, you know, wanting to do more.
