Dodgers manager Don Mattingly announced Monday that Clayton Kershaw will start Tuesday's NLDS Game 4 on short rest.
Mattingly decided not to wait and see what happened in Game 3 before making the announcement. Kershaw started last year's NLDS Game 4 versus the Braves on short rest and pitched well, giving up two unearned runs over six innings. Dan Haren had been penciled in as the Game 4 starter but will now be available in relief Monday. Zack Greinke would get the ball in Game 5 if the series goes the distance.Comment -
