Trade proposed: Bishop Sankey (RB-TEN) for Chris Johnson (RB NYJ)

The Background
This is a KEEPER LEAGUE that is in its second season. Each player picks four players from their roster to keep at season's end to roll over the next year.

I am in need of a running back, but my needs are not as dire as they were week two. I kept Adrian Peterson, RG3, TY Hilton and Antonio Brown from my previous roster that finished runner-up last year. With my first pick of the draft, I snagged Ray Rice.

My starting running backs were AP and RR. LOL. I also picked up Steven Jackson (RB- ATL) who I planned to use as a fill in until RR got back. I have since dropped RR, and SJ has been in the line up since. I also picked up Bishop Sankey, who I watched my Bengals face and seemed pretty tough.

The Question
I woke up this morning to a trade offer of Chris Johnson for Bishop Sankey. I really don't know much about either player right now. I know Johnson was really good before, but I am not so sure now. And I know Sankey keeps moving up the depth chart, but I don't know if he'll ever be a top back.

I am 1-3 in the league right now, mostly because it took me a couple weeks to create the line up I have now. I won last week, and my goal is to make the playoffs (8 of 12 teams make the playoffs so it is not the toughest task ever) and make a run at this year's championship.

Should I take this trade or should I keep Sankey? Also, Does anyone know of any really good sleeper running backs that I can pick up for week 9 when both Sankey and SJ are going to be on a bye? I have no back up running backs. I just dropped LaGarret Blunt, and I can pick him back up so that is an option (albeit a bad one IMO haha)

I'd keep Sankey, he has some high end potential and it seems he has turned the corner and will now be getting even more snaps.

today will be a pretty big indication, if I were you I'd pull back the trade and at least wait until after today's game to re-evaluate

also in some leagues you can pick up denard robinson as a RB

I went ahead and dropped Pitts Defense and Geno Smith and Picked up Robbinson and Carlos Hyde. We shall see how this turns out haha.

Definitely keep Sankey, his upside is waaay more than a used up Chris Johnson who is already splitting carries with Ivory. Sankey is on his way to busting out, his carries will only increase thru the year.

How many teams in your league? You might want to start trading vets for younger players as that doesn't look like a strong team (depending on league size)

I went from being in last place to fifth in my 12 person league and eyeing a big run in the playoffs. I beat the third best team and the best team in my winning streak!!
