The 20 HRs is probably all they care about. A's know what they are getting and they gave up nothing for it so why not.

Worth a shot. Not like Cespedes was hitting 300 either. Dunn still can hit some Jacks and he walks quite a bit

Only thing he has in common with Cespedes is he can occasionally homer, that's it. Probably harder to get his homers against better pitching in the playoffs. He's likely to retire after the season although A's didn't give up much.

The A's front office is active this year. However, I'm not too big on their chances of actually getting to the World Series. The A's are a good regular season team. For reasons unknown, they don't seem to have a collective skill level that carries over well into the playoffs.
