The triangle is perfect for Melo. Contrary to popular belief, Melo can play D. He was actually 30th in rebounds and 42nd in steal per game last year. Not too shabby for just an offensive player. Just a stigma that he's been labeled with but if people ever watched him they would see that he can defend and busts his ass battling down low.

Actually blocked more shots and had more steals per game than Blake but everyone loves Blake and his awesome dunks.

to be fair look up the last time lakers missed the playoffs back 2 back years the talking heads on my LA Espn radio said it was 75-76 season im 32 I wasn't even born yet lol so I wouldn't count on them being down too long. NBA free agents can't win, no matter what they do. At least the stars. Melo stays home, and he just wants the money but doesn't want to win. If he left, it would be just to chase a championship, though people seem to hate on him more than LeBron for staying when everyone wanted LeBron to stay..
