#10he just gonna mail it in from here on out. gettin paid, big money at that, so just gonna go through the motions at end of his career.
now granted, he plays in the biggest media center in the USA (possibly the world), so he gonna get beat down by the media all the time.
Phil better pull some magic and do his zen thing.Comment -

#16The triangle is perfect for Melo. Contrary to popular belief, Melo can play D. He was actually 30th in rebounds and 42nd in steal per game last year. Not too shabby for just an offensive player. Just a stigma that he's been labeled with but if people ever watched him they would see that he can defend and busts his ass battling down low.Originally posted by LordVodkaPhill seess something in him. Actually blocked more shots and had more steals per game than Blake but everyone loves Blake and his awesome dunks.

#19Knicks ar not going anywhere
Anthony is just not a winner and aig part is his personality
He has to be the cebter of attention or he does not care
He rather lose and score 27 per game than win and score 15-17

#20One year with the Nuggets he almost beat Kobe and the Lakers in the Western Finals. That was the only season I saw him play with passion on both ends of the court. It is probably because Billups was on the team and doesn't put up with BSComment -

#21it's okay like I said I think that was you ? Lakers are just the home team as are the clippers, kings, dodgers usc, ucla etc etc. to be honest it would have been fun having melo but if not it's okay best part of being in LA never a shortage of things to doOriginally posted by jsmithj88haha, i see reality has set in and u updated ur avatar

Only thing that changes I'll probably be betting @ more clipper games than laker games which is cool with me.

u were talking lakers, not LA
even all the LA glitz, glamour, legacy nonsense u were talking was thrown in the garbage
funny part is nobody even considered the lakers, in fact, the lakers were the first cut
i dont see how they get back to being a contender until kobe retires and they blow it all upComment -

#24That's fine but I think it was you who called me a laker homer ? Was that you ?which isn't true I'm more of a LA homer since it is home. Melo was a long shot lebron was a wish lakers have been down before they got back up. I'm sure they'll do it again if not there's always the clippers. I'm not bummed it seems to be a bigger deal to you...I'm going to see apes rise is it any good? 92% rotten tomatoesOriginally posted by jsmithj88and obviously, it wasnt just me

#27to be fair look up the last time lakers missed the playoffs back 2 back years the talking heads on my LA Espn radio said it was 75-76 season im 32 I wasn't even born yet lol so I wouldn't count on them being down too long. #29Melo didn't want the "I bought a championship" label. This is the direction the NBA needs to take and should want the players to take because this will keep the east competitive. The east is still open.Comment -

#31NBA free agents can't win, no matter what they do. At least the stars. Melo stays home, and he just wants the money but doesn't want to win. If he left, it would be just to chase a championship, though people seem to hate on him more than LeBron for staying when everyone wanted LeBron to stay..Originally posted by DiloMelo didn't want the "I bought a championship" label. LeBron left to win and everyone hated it, Melo stays home and everyone hates it and thinks he should have left. Such intelligent fans the NBA has.Comment -
