He threw one of the more comical picks in NFL history then on top of that if he puts the ball where its supposed to be at the end of the game they are in the superbowl, instead Sherman showed off his communications degree from Stanford to erin andrews.

I agree, teams absolutely need a decent QB or they are doomed to mediocrity, so they have to overpay them in many cases. Gabbert isn't going to take a team to the playoffs.
