Maybe he'll play in the CFL for a season like Ricky Williams did while he was suspended for weed.

He is already suspended for a season, he now has to worry about life suspension from NFL

It's a pity. I'm not sure why marijuana is a banned substance, but the rules are the rules.

They HAVE to, he tested positive and it was second offense. Was going to be one year and may still be, but technically league could add to it after this incident.

That is best case but doubt it happens.
Gordon is appealing his latest violation of the league's substance-abuse policy, but it doesn't appear he's going to get it shortened from the likely 16 games. A best-case scenario would be an eight-game ban, but Dynasty league owners need to be planning on life without Gordon for 2014.

He needs to play for the Broncos or Seahawks if you get my drift. If he would have got pulled over in either of those states, wouldn't even be a story.

Yeah I get your drift... You think that if an officer of the law pulls him over, that he'll be able to stall them with his shiny Super Bowl/AFC Championship ring. Those flashy rocks may make the average sports fan a little weak in the knees, but I honestly doubt a professionally trained officer, on active duty, is just going to forgo police protocol and let Gordon walk because he got the privilege of seeing a piece of sports memorabilia up close. That's not how it works buddy.

Weed is legal in Colorado right now, will become legal in Washington this summer. I'm not talking about medicinal, i'm talking about just having weed. You're allowed up to 2 oz's I believe. As long as you aren't selling it or driving under the influence of it, you are fine. There are now dispensaries in Colorado that anyone can go to and buy, just like your grocery store.

They will not suspend someone for a speeding ticket. They caught Jessie Tuggle once doing 155mph in his Lamborghini going to Falcons practice and he was not suspended.

Court case just came down the pipe recently, setting pretty decent precedent that there is a strong argument against a DUI even if found driving under the influence of weed. Something about the way it metabolizes. Fukkin' awesome really.

Gordon is a top 5 NFL WR.
Of course he'd have a good year, he tore it up last year in 14 games.... With greg Little as his #2 and Davone Bess as the #3.
Guy is a stud. He's Dez Bryant athleticism with even a SMALLER brain.

The moron knew the consequences and did it anyway, he deserves what he gets. If they told me I couldn't eat pizza but I'd get paid 5+ million a year I'd stop eating pizza (and I like pizza).

The speeding is not really the issue. Post #1 is more relevant.

Gotta keep the weed at the house, or at least hire a personal driver who knows how to follow the traffic laws and avoid getting pulled over.
