They need more than him. As a huge Browns fan tell me why the don't draft Sammy Watkins (especially after they knew Gordan was suspended) 1st? They still get Johnny at 22nd and then they passed again on Lee. Just don't make any since to me. They get B- rating with these three picks they get A+.

Good add for the 6 weeks he'll play. Guy is good, just fragile. Should be a fun team to watch especially if/when Manziel starts, I'll tune into their games over many of the others. Weird to say "No, I won't be coming out to watch the game, gonna sit at home and watch the Browns on Sunday package" yuck.

alot of people are looking at the browns situation now and are acting as if they are big dummies for not going wr.....this team is greatly improved.....

on the surface the gordon thing looks bad...and it will hurt them this year....but i dont think farmer and company are realistically expecting to blow people out of the water right away here....

they have a ton of talent...adding bitonio gives them the ability to move schwartz(former high pick himself) inside if they want...they reatined mack.....they added the top corner on their board to go along with haden....signed whitner....they hopefully get a healthy phil taylor back in the middle....brought in dansby.....im looking to see a jump in former top pick mingo(mike pettine revived the career of jerry hughes in buffalo so it remains to be seen if he can jumpstart mingo...but ill be watching that closley)same with jabaal sheard....they have alot of potential on defense

on offense the line is a strength.....they have two similar backs in ben tate and terrance west to pound the ball with if they want.....they still have what it takes to be pretty competitive.......and the following year they are armed with an extra first round pick and the possiblity of getting gordon back if he wakes the hell up......

all in all they are in the right direction....the gordon thing hurts for this year....and it may stunt their overall growth this year a bit....but i doubt they are looking at this as a 1 year window to greatly improve

you make a lot of good points, on the other hand its the browns after this draft how would they have any where to go but up?

The Browns best season was a 10-6 season in 2007.
They have the pieces to do this again.

i hear you....at the same time...if you watched them last year( im a pats fan/season ticket holder...but i watch the league)....their defense showed some improvement and then tailed off later in the year.....a little more consistency would help....and hoyer was making some strides....but somehow didnt know how to slide like an nfl qb and ruined his year....it would have been fun to see what he might have done with a whole year

i get what you mean totally....at the same time...overall...they keep improving the talent level overall.....so i think it will be interesting...plus i think pettine is a pretty good defensive guy....so im def keeping my eye on this team....while i think my pats team last year did alot with smoke and mirrors....this cleveland team had us on the ropes at home....and we pulled through.......this is a team id buy stock in if i could and i think is on the up and up
