Well, after they realize their 4th pick with Manziel doesnt work out, I guess they need some other back-up. Weeden isnt taking them anywhere.

Weeden is a Cowboy now. They really have nothing at QB. I guess they are exploring all options! Hoyer is a decent guy to have around.

Good God Vince Young's life is pathetic. If he had any advisors who gave a shit about him, they'd tell him to get into motivational speaking or try to sucker the NFL into hiring him to talk to college kids coming into the pros about how he pissed millions down the drain in a record amount of time and now is begging for a tryout just so he can try to eat some food.

Brian Hoyer has some hope to be a good QB, but othewr than that they have nothing at QB, and have had nothing at QB since they came back in 1999. I don't know if I want them to take Manziel or not. On one hand I think CLE needs a guy who doesn't give a penetrate what people say about him, but on the other hand if Manziel is gonna be a bust, he has the highest chance to be a bust for Cleveland over any other franchise. Kind of a lose-lose situation. If they take him, he likely turns into a bust, if they don't he likely shines for someone else.

Hoyer is decent and would make a solid #2, the Browns need to draft a top prospect in the 1st round this year to have a chance of being competitive.

Empire is right, Hoyer is a very good #2 but I would not want to have to rely on him as THE man.

I dont think we can judge Hoyer yet... I mean, I dont want to rely on him either, but the jury is still out on whether he is a starter in the league or not. He did go 3-0 as starter on a team that went 4-12, that's saying something. I'd rather the Browns give him the reigns than to waste #4 on another stiff. But if #4 turns out to be a franchise guy, then by all means pull the trigger. Problem is, it's impossible to tell, especially in this draft. And with the Browns track record, I'd rather they take Clowney/Watkins/Mack/Robinson

Vince has to first determine what State Cleveland is in. Then, someone will need to take him there. If he has any physical tools left someone will then need to chaperone him around--so u have to factor in the salary for that guy.

why not?...Hoyer kicked ass last year when given a chance....granted, it's just a small sample size but the Browns were playing their best football of the year when he was QB before he got injured...

A. It was a small sample as you said and B. It was not a tough part of their schedule. Remember Hoyer is not that young, he probably would have been given a shot earlier to start for some bottom-tier team if they believed in him.
