#4Pretty much inherited the team, made a bunch of bonehead decisions, awful trades, locked up the team with half the roster with NTC's. Just a total mess. Offered Sundin 2 years 20 million a few years back!!! That would have killed the Canucks.Originally posted by Big Bearthey made the stanley cup a few years ago this is somewhat shocking
He just does not know what the hell he's doing, had two franchise number one goaltenders, publicly stated he doesn't see a way Luongo would be back, and ends up trading Schneider, later on trading their second elite goaltender.
Let a few key guys walk, never replaced them, never found that secondary scoring or a line mate Kesler after the SCF run. Then we just got bounced in the first round of the playoffs and were never a real threat anymore.
I could go on all day.
Then theres the crooked idiotic owners. Greedy cheap pigs who are just trying to save themselves and get people to renew season tickets before the April 9th deadline, hence the firing today rather than end of the season. I could go on about these tools as well.
Source: Canucks fan my entire life, painful painful circus we run here at times. Team has no heart or direction anymore.Comment -

#11I'd wager for a blow up. It's too late to build a team around the Sedin's, and Kessler will never be the same player following the shoulder surgery. This team has lots of freeloaders that got paid and don't have the competitive drive anymore.Originally posted by leslandersThe question will come as to whether or not Linden will blow up the team or just try and add a piece or twoComment -

#12Canucks are a joke used to have some good players but now all scrubs
Guys like Booth, Kassian, and other completely useless players the picked up and basically got rid of stud players like schnieder, grabner, hodgson
Now you have nobody at goalie, aging offense, and shit management.Comment -

#15I agree with bettahs.
The crooked owner Aqualini hired Gillis.
A complete idiot player agent.
Who then hired tired Torts.
Somebody had pictures of some one else blowing a goat!!
Only way to explain this utter mess.Comment -

#19I dont think he is finished, he still has a Stanley Cup to his resume. Vancouver was just a very poor fit for him. You cant expect to take a defensive minded coach and put him on a team that plays up tempo offensive style hockey and expect good results, especially when the bulk of that team had been playing that way most of their careers and are set in their ways. Taking the job in Vancity was an error on his part.Originally posted by BeanTownClown88I feel bad for torts...he's failed miserably over the past two years..especially with all that talent in Vancouver..he's head-coaching career could be overComment -
