Exactly. He could have been dumped by the Eagles at any point because of the moral clause in his contract if something solid came out.
Adam Schefter (from ESPN) made the least sense on the situation. He said that the Eagles chose to release him out moral conscious and he believes it to be 100% true. Then why were they trying to dump him on another team in a trade up until this point?? When an ESPN anchorman brought up that point and asked him if the Eagles notified possible trading partners about his "gang ties", Schefter just scooted the question.Comment -

Teams don't have to make excuses to cut players in today's contract world. You owe them anything guaranteed and nothing else. His affiliations were probably a small part of the big picture. He is a bad teammate and exhibited to much of the Me syndrome. Two days after they lose in the playoffs, he wants a new contract. Very apparent what he is about. Dude signed a five year deal in 2012 and already wants more.
