Morales has good power but Nelson Cruz is the better all around player, they should grab Cruz IMO.

I still think if the Mets have any balls and intelligence they sign Kendrys Morales to 3 yr/$45 million and let the guy play first base and bat 5th. The guy can hit fot power....decent average and knock in RBI's. Trade Duda, Ike Davis and a young AAA prospect for a short stop.

Cruz is destined to wind up back in TX on a one year deal. It's awesome too because he might get a third of what they offered him when the offseason started. Turned down a $14.1 million deal qualifying deal.

take a look at the Mets roster and tell me those 2 players won't help the ball club.

Other than Wheeler , Niese, Granderson, and Wright the Mets have almost an entire roster of minor league caliber players
