#458Never is when you Losing & Dead Last, your scores have been so low I was about to think one of our Legends had quit. On a side note, one of our other Legends Mikemca Hasn't skipped a beat, he's at Top of the Leaderboard as usual.

#459I try to win in the SBR Book just to cover my losses in the fantasy game each year.
Last week I had a sidebet with Daze, Opti, shaun, Noles, and rob.
I only beat rob. Paid everyone else (except Opti, we're going to add it up after the season, I think).[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#462I'm gonna send Luv2Gamble a PM, as I don't think he reads the thread. He's confusing us having a new thread every week with Opti/Yisman contest or that we start a new thread in this contest at the Start of each NEW Segment. Its much easier in this contest to keep Each Segment Together.
It should be easy to find the sign up, as its always in the 1st post after last weeks Results, plus I Always Copy/ Paste it on race day to the LAST PAGE. But just to make sure I didn't miss someone paying I Always double Check my Points History in case someone paid in a different post.Last edited by CarolinaDaze; 03-11-14, 11:08 PM.Comment -

#463Also I should have mentioned this for the new players, our contest thread is not only in The Nascar Forum BUT also the Fantasy Sports Forum where you can get 1 extra point per day for posting, its another reason we don't do a fresh thread every week. I just bug SBR 3 times a year when we start a New Segment. Segments #1 & #2 are for 13 races each and then a 10 Race Chase Segment.Comment -

If you bought Danica at 12 and she dropped to 11 because she can't drive, you can renegotiate and then get her at 11.
If you don't renegotiate she'd still cost you 12.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#468Oh ok u don't get a salary raise its still 100m but I get the cheapier price.
Thanks yisman, that might help me some.
Id u I had her week b4 lets say u need to drop her b4 renegotiation or just leave her on the roster and it will do it automatically? And if a guy on roster goes up u can just keep him at the cheaper price I'm guessing?
well that helps haven't done that. Probably wouldn't have mAttered but good to know. Should have read CD post close about it week 2Comment -

#469Is there a reason NOT to renegotiate? If you renegotiate, if a salary dropped you get the new price and thus more cap room. If a salary rose, you are still locked in at old price. It is a win-win.Comment -

#470Yeah the reasoning behind that is players use to drop their drivers every week when their value dropped, then they would go right back and just pick them back up at their New Low price. It just saves that step, reason I've been saying Renegotiate Is Your Friend. But make SURE you do it before adjusting your roster, last week I dropped a guy who lost value, and then remembered the Renegotiate Button, that's Money I cant get back, and I'm sure eventually I'll be just that close to missing out on someone I wanted.Comment -

#472As I mentioned in a previous post, also make sure you know for SURE if you want to drop a driver that increased in value. Because if you drop him and then change your mind, you would have to pay the new bigger price to put him back in your lineup.Comment -

#474I'll tell you what has helped me some, I accidently happened into it (Might Still help u guys or Not).... I created a extra entry (You're allowed up to 5), but I never used it to join a league. So every week I use it to try out different line ups, once I find a good one I Lock it in Both.Comment -

#476Yes it probably doesn't matter if you drop them anyway. but if you intend to keep a driver whose salary decreased, Renegotiate to get some extra cap room (equivalent to the amount of the decrease).Comment -

so just to clarify, if you have a driver locked in at a salary of 25, and he goes up to 26 and you hit renegotiate, you still get to keep him at 25? only the salarys that go down get renegotiated?Comment -

#483Correct. Just don't drop the 25 guy unless you are certain you want to, it would cost 26 to put him back if you change your mind. I like CD's idea of creating a second team for futzing around purposes.Comment -
