I used to play in a league where the fantasy playoffs were the NFL playoffs. At the end of the regular season, guys that made the playoffs were allowed to protect up to three guys on their roster that made the NFL playoffs and we had a re-draft from there. Thing is rosters were final with no transactions allowed after draft, so you had to be a handicapper as well as a fantasy guy, picking guys that last longer in playoffs.

i'd be interested in a league where you draft as if it were a regular league. you set a line-up each week and at the end, the team with the most points takes 70% of the pot and 2nd would get 30%. i'd say you would want at least 6 teams but no more than 12.
standard fantasy scoring would apply (PPR if desired). once your player is eliminated you have a dead spot in your line-up.

I would have hated that format using nfl playoffs to decide the whole season champ

There were regular season payouts too, in fact I think the higher majority of the pool was paid out to regular season winners, playoffs were more of a tack-on.

we could predict how we think the playoffs are gonna end up , post each winners, superbowl winner, mvp, etc
Could do a draft. If you take lets say p manning at pick 1. Your getting 1 less game, and wouldnt do to well if they don't make the superbowl, etc

TT couldn't run it, he is a non-pro and he has been accused of stiffing people. I think we can set up a private league on NFL network and maybe have someone hold points on here, if enough people are interested.

The fantasy points accumulated by each player during one (1) weekly scoring period will be multiplied by the number of consecutive weeks in which the player has been on your roster assuming such player's team progresses through the playoffs. A player can earn bonus point multipliers of 2x, 3x or 4x for a given week based on the number of weeks they were on the fantasy team roster. For example: A user selects Tom Brady, NE in the Wild Card round. Brady earns 15 fantasy points in the first weekly scoring period therefore the participant is awarded 15 points for the first weekly scoring period. If NE advances to the Divisional Playoffs and the participant selects to keep Brady on his/ her roster for the second consecutive weekly scoring period, and Brady earns 20 fantasy points in his Divisional Playoff game, the participant will earn 40 points for the second consecutive weekly scoring period (20 x 2 = 40). Those 40 points will be added to the 15 points earned in the first weekly scoring period for a two-week total of 55 points (15 + 40 = 55). In addition, a user can select Tom Brady, NE in the Wild Card round even if the New England Patriots have a bye into the Divisional Round. In this case, the user would not earn any points for the Wild Card round, but would then be eligible to earn "double points" in the Divisional round, since Brady was on the team's roster for 2 weekly scoring periods.

unfortunately I think it has to be pro only (unless a pro is willing to loan the whole entry fee to and send it in for the non pro) what is a good entry fee ? 100pts?

I set up a private league on NFL network, if we want to do it I guess anyone who wants to be in it can ship me 100 points right in this thread and I will give you the league name and password (if someone does awesome over there NFL is offering prizes too) when we figure out how many are entering we will decide how many places we will pay out.
