Kansas City is the only playoff team locked into its seed as the five in the AFC, so they are the only team as of now to treat this week like a preseason game. That may change with 4:00 ET games, but probably not considering it looks like the NFL got it right by playing the more meaningful games late and games with correlation simultaneously. Back to KC, Reid always pulled or rested his starters in this situation while at Philly.

Gotta love Week 17, Chargers line will probably drop if Ravens or Dolphins win early. It's like you can't handicap just one game a lot of the time.

Week 17 is the only week of the year where oddsmakers don't know what to do. Out of all the games on the board, the SDC/KC is by far and away the best and laying the 10 with San Diego is the absolute way to go.Year after year, you get games like this (normally more than one) when a team is locked into a playoff spot and has nothing to play for. Oddsmakers can't hang a high enough number to reflect the reality that KC will lose by at least 20. SDC-10 is about as high as they can go.

Take advantage of the situation and bet SDC -10.
