Ralph Sampson is a very accurate comparison. Like Sampson, whose career ended with knee injuries, Rose has not won a championship, played at a super high level when healthy (way higher than Roy) and was expected to be the greatest guard of his generation by the end of his career. 99% here weren't alive when Ralph was doing his thing in college and Houston. Olojuawon was great in part to what he learned from Sampson.

You can't win with players like Derrick Rose.

Great regular season guy, in the playoffs can't go 1 on 4, have to be able to pass, defend, and rely on teammates.

This may help Bulls in long run.

I'm going to speculate it's not ACL. Watched the slo mo and his knee buckled forward, not to the side. Could be MCL, and the recovery on that would be 2-12 weeks depending on how much was torn.
