    ahmad bradshaw for andrew luck?
ok guys first dilemma of the season...just drafted the team last night and the trade offers are already swirling. I got offered andrew luck for my ahmad bradshaw. here is my current roster:

    qb- vick
    3wr - r wayne, garcon, m austin
    2 rb - forte, d wilson
    1 flex - f gore
    1 te - m bennett

bench - a bradshaw, i redman, vincent brown, bryce brown, j edelman

what do you guys think??? should i ride it out with vick and have great depth at RB? should i trade him for luck and go with luck over vick?

thanks for the responses, any insight as to why? I was actually leaning towards keeping bradshaw, valuing a good core of RBs and having great depth (we can start 3 RBs every week) not to mention, I already have Vick who by all reports has a lot of potential to break out this year

I'd make the trade. Vick may do great in the new offense, but he's still an injury waiting to happen and you'd be wishing to have Luck as a backup. You could always rotate the two based on matchups, with the weak run game of the Colts, they will be airing it out often.

make the trade and start Luck least week one against Oakland.

I see your point, but with bradshaw I feel like the colts run game isn't so weak now...right now, Alex Smith is on waivers...if he clears, I think I will add him for some backup QB depth, if not, maybe I will look into trading for another qb as insurance for Vick

where is Bradshaw on the Colts depth chart, if I'm not mistaken he's 3rd behind Ballard and Brown. Of course all that could change pretty quick. If nothing else Luck offers better trade bait, somebody's starting QB will go down during the season and you should get better value in return than Bradshaw.

at this current point in time, maybe he is 3rd on the depth chart...by title only...they did not go out and get ahmad bradshaw to play as their 3rd string RB, they have said they want to give him the lions share of the carries which is why this is a tough one...luck is obviously good, but having RB depth is crucial...its really a toss up

Bradshaw will be first on the depth chart and there' sno one else behind him to even whiff his jock strap. He's going to get the lion share of carries. I'm sure bradshaw may get injured throughout the season but with a QB like Luck Bradshaw's stock rises. I'm sure there's a few QB's on your FA or waiver list that you can pick up, but you can't pick up a solid RB like Bradshaw when he plays he's pretty descent and he can also catch from the backfield. Depending on how many teams you have in the league, Bradshaw may have much more value then Luck. If I were you keep Vick and just pick up a QB when he's on bye.

tough trade...RB depth is important but Vick is injury prone..where did both get drafted?

Bradshaw and Vick may not make it 10 games bc they are always hurt.

my RBs arent all that injury prone...both forte and gore played most if not all of the year last year, and david wilson has never been injured? yes, bradshaw is injury prone, but hes a bona-fide starter in this league and he will definitely be the colts #1 back this year provided he stays healthy (of course that is a big IF)

i am thinking i'd hopefully like to see bradshaw's value rise, then trade him for a WR to someone who is hurting on RBs. I got vick pretty late, but you have to understand there is a lot of potential for vick this year...new system, he says he feels like his career has been restarted, they run a very high paced up-tempo offense. i wouldve went with russell wilson but he was sniped one pick before mine. i am going to pick up alex smith as a backup in case.

its a 12 team league, i do like Luck dont get me wrong, but i dont think he holds as much value as a starting RB. i think the difference between luck and alex smith for instance might not be that huge. additionally, i think if vick stays healthy, he will blow luck away...who knows though I guess

You must keep Bradshaw. Otherwise that'd be cray.
