Nelson Cruz Trade

With Braun now actually suspended what do you think the value of Nelson Cruz is?

Guys been a beast thus far but who knows how many more games he gets in.

Do you dump him for some first half underperformer ie...Jason Heyward? Can you get better?

I guess this applies to the rest of the guys on the oh shit list as well. Colon, Cabrera,e tc

I actually don't think he will actually have to serve a suspension this season, so as far as re-draft leagues I think you can hold on to him.

I think it's definitely worth exploring what you could get for him. If you go for someone underperforming make sure he's on a good team.

I'm sure MLB is going to offer all of these Biogenesis guys some sort of a deal to sit out rest of year....or get whacked for the full 50 to start next season.

I imagine the guys on bad teams will sit out now and not next year, (unless they are in the last year of a contract then of course they may be better getting paid now perhaps) but a guy like Cruz is likely to appeal and try his hardest to not serve until next year to participate in a potential Rangers playoff run this year...

I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't appeal out his suspension and serve it to start next year.
