What is Trumbo worth in trade?

I probably wouldn't have bothered and here's why:

Trumbo is projected (via ZiPs) to go 258/15/34/44/2; also Trumbo hasn't been great since april going 222/14/37/37/1

Carter (who can be had fro nothing) is projected 234/13/34/36/1

Overall the gains are very minor; but at least Trumbo should have 1/3/O eligibility,

yea trumbo's numbers arent fantastic to give up a pitcher like hudson.

I do like Hudson as a pitcher, although he is not a high K guy...I guess this trade can work out for you if the Angels bats continue to heat up, he does hit the heart of a lineup containing trout, pujols, and hamilton

He homers and he bats in runs.
I wouldn't have given him up for a meiocre Tim Hudson

Nice feedback.

This trade was for a friend in my league. I thought I would see some opinions here. I slightly leaned towards the trade because Hudson doesn't strike out enough for my own preference and Trumbo is about on pace for his last years numbers except the batting average is slightly down.
