Couple of dark horse starting pitchers I'm using tonight
Nick Tepesch - I'm throwing out that last start of his, had a brain fart against the Blue Jays, the previous four starts were solid, giving up 0 earne, 2 earned, 2 earned, 1 run.
Rangers should rock Jimmenez, looking for Tepesch to go 6 strong tonight, won't give me mega points, but will give me more than enough points (plus the bonus points for the W) to justify his inexpensive salary, freeing up lots of cap room for big time hitters.

Kevin Slowey - Slowey's across the board numbers are better than league average this season so far. 1.27 WH/IP is sound, 3.77 ERA is good, will get you 6 or 7 K's, 9 K's if he's sharp, was sharp against the Mets last time out, I liked the way he was throwing, no earned in 7 innings striking out 8, walking none.
Like Tepesch, you can get Slowey tonight dirt cheap.

I've been having a very successful season this year by going value on pitching and getting premium hitting with the savings.

Won (tied for first) the other night in a big GPP, last night picked up 75 dollars finishing 10th out of 250 by using the same successful formula of mine, (value pitching, premium hitting)

    Last night's results

    1 Bravesfan 323 $1000.00
    2 Whodeywin 304 $487.50
    2 Whodeywin 304 $487.50
    4 burnnotice 298 $250.00
    5 baseballguru 293 $212.50
    6 Backslider 289 $175.00
    7 AWGIB 275 $137.50
    8 Slime2x 274 $112.50
    9 AWGIB 269 $87.50
    10 Stevenash 267 $75.00

thats the only problem with the bargain bin pitchers....they get lit up from time to time...but still a very profitable strategy

If just one of those guys gets lit up does it cost you all?

                    When he's on, he's unhittable.

Oh well, I am not going to cash every night, but I've been crushing it all year so far.
