BHQ take: The news that Starling Marte is two weeks away from swinging a bat forced PIT to make a deal. Byrd and Buck are both RHBs, and the effect on their power potential is a mixed bag. They move from Citi Field (+16% RHB HRs) to PNC Park (-31%), with 16 more scheduled home games. They also have three road games each at MIL (+28%), STL (-25%), TEX (+19%), CHC (+7%), and CIN (+43%). Buck has been slumping since the beginning of May, and outside of a July bounce, his xBA has been running under .200. Byrd's .314 BA since July 1 has been fueled by a 39% hit rate. BHQ take: Because Trevor Cahill was forced to pitch in Saturday's 18-inning game against the Phillies, Holmberg will make his major league debut. He came to the Diamondbacks with Daniel Hudson in a 2010 trade with the White Sox and was immediately considered among ARI's better prospects. This year at AAA-Mobile, Holmberg is 5-7 with a 2.66 ERA in 25 starts. His skill set is analyzed in the Daily Callups column. Kubel's demise is not a complete surprise, given his reduced role, anemic production (.139 BA in July and August, .230 BA vs. RHP in 2013), and lack of position versatility. With Gerardo Parra and Adam Eaton getting most of the outfield starts, expect A.J. Pollock and Tony Campana to vie for the other at-bats. Long-time lurker that's officially addicted to daily fantasy baseball.

I started playing after finishing in the money of a FanDuel freeroll tournament. I figured, ah, what the hell? Let's see how it goes.

So far I've tripled by freeroll winnings and it's the most fun I've ever had playing fantasy sports.

Blah blah blah, right?

After starting 20-5 I hit a meh patch of 15-14, but I am riding a 5 game winning streak. I play 50/50s.
