Best Chance for $25K in Prizes on DraftKings
Hey guys wanted to let everyone know our $25K Light the Lamp Classic is just around the corner--it starts at 1pm EST this Saturday (Feb. 9th).

Tonight is your best chance to qualify, as 1/10 will win a seat at the big game Saturday. Buy-in is only $12.

No guarantees, but I'm expecting both the qualifier tonight and the Light the Lamp Classic to not come close to filling, meaning there's lots of value to be had. As always, let me know if you have any questions.

    Josh

Should've made this clear--the $25K Light the Lamp Classic is an NHL contest, as is the qualifier tonight.

      NOT NBA.

      Thanks,

      Josh

That's good DS cuz you only need 9

But honestly, one thing I've always frowned upon is when there's no cap on max entries. It really turns a lot of people away. I understand DK has to fill those slots up andminimize the layover but when people see sharks like lupz entering over 15 teams, with only 25 qualifier tickets, there's not alot of room for other people to fight over.

I actually agree, its the double edged sword. On one hand you have to fill the slots or the overlay will eat them alive but on the other side its discouraging when you know your against one guy or a small group of guys (who are obvioulsy good) and there occupying tons of entries. Same thing happens with the NBA.

But in order to enact change they have to have the volume to offset and right now I just dont think that volume is there.

From what I understand, yes you can still buy there cash from the store.

Hopefully people that are buying the cash from the store are also depositing or else it will be going away in the future.

Yeah, what is the deal with that DS? If you make a deposit, you can no longer purchase DK cash from the store? Wtf kinda bullshit is that?

Yeah, they did it a little backwards. They should have just set a dollar amount someone could buy at that point amount and then create a higher priced point after.

Obviously they are trying to entice new clients and are giving a good deal on there cash to do it but there ultimate goal has to be to get people that actually deposit money otherwise you will have nothing but the SBR freerollers that never actually deposit anything constantly popping them every time they get a few points.

Its a good deal and Mikey if you havent used the site I suggest you give it a try. Its fun, has various levels and gives you a reason to pay attention to NBA games you normally would never view. So far there customer service has been very responsive and the site is very easy to use.

Good discussion, guys, and yes downsouth nailed it. The way it's set up now we encourage people who haven't tried out the site yet to purchase money via the SBR store, but obviously our long-term goal is to get people to deposit their own money so we don't have only Freerollers.

Direct buy-ins available for $25K Light the Lamp Classic. I’m nervous it’s not going to fill—this could be great for overlay hunters:
