#143Yes--good luck downsouth. Should be plenty of value plays available with lots of players out due to injury (Griffin, Young, Duncan etc.).Originally posted by nosniboR11good luck on the big buy ins ds, how many people are usually in the 200 buy ins
And nosniboR11, great to hear you're trying out the site! Please let me know if you have any questions. It'd be great if you could post them on the forum, but to you or anyone else that wants to ask me a question privately my email address is jlevinscherz@draftkings.com.
I believe that the $200 buy-ins that downsouth is referring to is part of our Steps Tournament. It's a special contest where you can buy-in for as little as $2 and work your way up the steps and cash out with $1,000. Or you could buy-in directly at the higher steps.
So if I'm guessing correctly, downsouth is at Step 5 (one step away from the last Step 6) and very close to cashing out big.Comment -

#146Thanks for the feedback, dynamite140, but could you elaborate a little on what you mean? Our contests never take more than one-day, which is the shortest a fantasy contest can take. With some exceptions, we include all the games from whatever day you are playing on so that the player pools are large.Originally posted by dynamite140Draftking is good but problem is contests are very long and take a while to finish.Comment -

#147I would suggest that DK adds the options to move players to different positions once they are on you team; at time you have a PF/C player and you want to move him from PF to C position just drag and dropping him in your lineup would be nice as opposed to having to drop him, go back to the proper game/position and reselecting himComment -

#148draftkings Josh,
I recently had my SBR store order cancelled due to having already made a deposit with your site.
Your product in the SBR store says it is no longer valid for people who have made an actual deposit. I thought the whole point of offering your product in the SBR store was to generate new deposits. So because I actually tried to help a site sponsor I can longer order cash with SBR points. Basically I am being screwed because I made a deposit trying to support a sponsor. I have the points I could have easily ordered $1000 cash but instead chose to show good faith and show you your efforts were working on some level or another.
So what this tells me is why would you support the site with deposits when you are better off just buying the free cash from sbr store as depositing will only prohibit you in the long run.
By no means am I your biggest player but I do play daily and put up a decent amount of volume.
ThanksComment -

I checked the records, and because you first deposited money before we changed our policy to "first-time depositors only", we'd be happy to honor your SBR Store purchase. That's my fault, as I didn't think things through before denying the request.
To everyone else, I hope you can understand our "first-time depositor only" policy moving forward as our goal is not only to make current users happy but to keep growing our overall base! This will enable to us to fund new features, great promotions, and new contests.
Downsouth, please allow until the end of the day to see your purchased credit.Comment -

#153Bayless is a scoring machine. Played pickup with him a lot in Tucson and his ability to get to the rim is better than any of the AZ pgs. Should have spent another season in Tucson improving his D but he will put up big numbers if given playing time.Originally posted by downsouthYeah, had put in Nash in a few in place of Conley (why I made entire lakers starting 5 comment when I posted lineup).
Bayless was on fire last night, cannot believe when they had ball last night in waning seconds they didnt find a way to get him the ball and instead let Darrell ARthur(played absolute awful game) get the ball and chuck up a three.
As for Bynum, I have definitely used him when I needed a plug in type player that could put up decent stats on the cheap.
Good luckComment -

#166Just got one lineup for now including the 1pm. May toss another one out later. Ran it in almost all the lower level Double or nothings up to $11, several single table tourneys, and a few steps of various levels (think 3 was the highest)
Salmons of course a big gamble but couldnt find anything else 3500 or under I really liked. Hope maybe high scoring game allows him to get to 20 and hit value. Barbosa and Bradley were in the running as well. If you dont like those guys I guess you could throw maybe a Chalmers in there and hope for a second miracle game in two games.
Thought Bargnani was good value at that price as probably only guy at that level who could go off and net you 30 if he got hot. Figure at worst he should make value scoring 10-14, picking up a few boards, maybe an assist or two and possibly a block/steal.
Hopefully dont end up kicking myself for not finding a way to force Harden into the lineup with the run he has been having. Will probably find a way if I decide to do later lineups(probably swipe out Vucevic for AMir and Cousins for Randolph and put him in Carmelo spot). Had to take Carmelo at his price point as hes capable of putting the numbers up of any of the big guys and didnt have quite the price tag.

Brutal as everyone else was having decent game and would have had Cousins and Salmons to make push for a good cash.
