Playoff Roster - 1st Week BYE - Advice?
Hey guys. Playoffs start next week and I will be on a BYE that week along with the league's best team (I had second best record). I wanted to get an early start on preparing my roster for the following week. Any early advice or recommendations? Just concerned with what teams will be resting who in the next few weeks. I currently have 3 defenses on my roster; which should I drop and for who or what position?

    Thanks guys! I'll give points.

    QB Matt Ryan, Atl QB
    RB Arian Foster, Hou RB
    RB Shonn Greene, NYJ RB
    WR Julio Jones, Atl WR
    WR Randall Cobb, GB WR
    TE Kyle Rudolph, Min TE
    FLEX Steve Smith, Car WR
    D/ST Colts D/ST D/ST
    K Greg Zuerlein, StL K
    BENCH
Bench Darren McFadden, Oak RB Q
    Bench Denarius Moore, Oak WR
    Bench Packers D/ST D/ST
    Bench Felix Jones, Dal RB
    Bench Benjamin Watson, Cle TE
    Bench Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buf QB
    Bench Redskins D/ST D/ST

you might not want to play any of those defenses....i like the bengals D or detroits D this week if either are available...def dont play indy against houston who will be pissed after getting crushed...

the only other suggestion i have is, wait and see how mcfadden practices this week. he could be a better start than greene if he plays...they are up against a terrible KC defense

Here are the 2 teams I need to worry about. I will likely face Opponent 1 after my BYE week, and Opponent 2 (league leader) the week after if I get there.

      Opponent 1
      QB Colin Kaepernick, SF QB
RB Ray Rice, Bal RB P
      RB Stevan Ridley, NE RB
      WR Chris Givens, StL WR
      WR T.Y. Hilton, Ind WR
      TE Brandon Myers, Oak TE
      FLEX Bryce Brown, Phi RB
      D/ST Chargers D/ST D/ST
      K Stephen Gostkowski, NE K
      BENCH
      SLOT PLAYER, TEAM POS
      Bench Eli Manning, NYG QB
Bench Rob Gronkowski*, NE TE O
Bench Dwayne Bowe*, KC WR O
      Bench Miles Austin, Dal WR
      Bench Texans D/ST D/ST
      Bench Joe Flacco, Bal QB
      Bench Lance Moore, NO WR
      Opponent 2
QB Ben Roethlisberger, Pit QB P
      RB Jamaal Charles, KC RB
      RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cin RB
      WR Calvin Johnson, Det WR
WR Victor Cruz, NYG WR P
      TE Jason Witten, Dal TE
FLEX Pierre Garcon, Wsh WR P
      D/ST Seahawks D/ST D/ST
      K Robbie Gould, Chi K Q
      BENCH
      SLOT PLAYER, TEAM POS
      Bench Marques Colston, NO WR
      Bench Philip Rivers, SD QB
      Bench Michael Crabtree, SF WR
      Bench Bills D/ST D/ST
      Bench Jeremy Kerley, NYJ WR
      Bench Brandon Stokley, Den WR

I have a BYE this coming week. Should I pick up the Bengals D for the following week? Bengals @ Pitt

I have the Skins D and they'll be playing Philly that week.

I like the Skins defense against Philly after your bye. Definitely drop Fitzpatrick and a defense you wont use and add some WR for depth.

i see what you mean...look ahead 2 weeks and see who plays the cardinals, jags, eagles, etc. those are usually the best defenses to stream haha
