Anyone else's league seem to be top-heavy?
Top heavy in terms of total amount of points scored. More specifically, the teams with the higher draft pick are scoring more points. Here are the logistics of my 12 team league:

League average Total Points Scored: 881.7
    Average points per game: 88.17
Number of teams above league average: 4 (out of 12)

Of those 4 teams above average, three of them had a top-3 pick in the draft! The remaining above-average team had the #6 draft spot. Further:

    Draft Position Total Points Scored
    1 998.1
    2 922.6
    3 990.0
    4 841.3
    5 869.0
    6 925.3
    7 780.8
    8 859.5
    9 871.2
    10 841.3
    11 864.8
    12 816.5

    Average Total Points Scored for:
    Draft position 1-6: 924.4
    Draft position 7-12: 839.0

    Even further:

    Average Total Points Scored for:
    Draft position 1-3: 970.2
    Draft position 4-6: 878.5
    Draft position 7-9: 837.2
    Draft position 10-12: 840.2

I don't remember anything quite like this from previous years.

Well it definitely appears that having the benefit of picking first is paying off so far this season.

I had the fifth pick and Lesean McCoy is screwing me by sucking it up, probably the only top pick that laid an egg.

            Must be amateur leagues.

            Draft Picks #1,3,4. are 9-21.

Scoring is very balanced. Best team is only 7-3.

Probably just randomness. in the league I'm in the guy who had the first pick is doing well because he got RG3, later on in the draft.
