megatron for brady...did i make the right move?

yeah it definitely hurt, trust me...i'm a diehard pats fan, and my team name in that league is "50 Shades of Brady" ..whats worse, its in a predominantly san diego league (few of my buddies moved out there) and they all hate on the pats which makes me winning with brady even sweeter...but the top teams in this league all have stud receivers, because it is .5 ppr...my reasoning is that while i had great RBs, megatron and moore would be a lot more helpful than steve smith and stevie johnson...and as much as brady is great, im not sure the dropoff in points from brady to luck will be as much as the increase of points from the two steves to calvin and moore...then again i could be wrong. thanks for your input, anyone else?

lions got a tough schedule ahead. I wouldn't have done it either as Brady is almost guaranteed to give you a solid # every sunday

i actually like this trade...megatron sould really help your wrs and the point diff between luck and brady will only be minimal imo....you are stacked at rb and they should carry you far, especially sine jackson is hurt..the only thing i dont like is moore as your other starting wr...who else do you have? imo i like the trade

Thanks guys for all the input...to be honest i didnt look into the schedule as much because i feel like megatron is almost matchup proof...and i have stevie johnson who i guess i can play ahead of moore but in a .5ppr league i think moore may have a little extra value

Good trade. Smart move of shedding depth to get ready for playoffs. Depth is important to start the season with injuries, but with playoffs just around the corner, it is time to solidify that starting lineup.

Calvin has had a couple of really good games the last two games. If he goes back to catching 2-3 balls a game for 35 yards, youre fukked. Even without much TD production, he is a top 5 WR in PPR leagues.

Otherwise, I like the trade. Luck is a solid top 10 fantasy QB. Brady has been a bit better, but not by much. In order to judge if you came out ok on this trade, I guess it depends how they perform the rest of the way.

Final note, as some other posters said, you can probably do better than more at the 2nd/3rd receiver slot.

Well also got rid of brady i regret it everyday hes goos for atleast 20-25 points but on the flip side calvin is getting 150 200 yards a game which should make up for the loss at qb

If touchdown passes are four points or less, then it was a good trade. If they are six points, it's a bit more debatable. In either case it was not horrible.
