I need 45 points from Peyton and Gates to remain undefeated in one of my leagues. Tall order but Peyton has been racking up points this year. Maybe it will be a shootout and Gates will look like the Gates of old.

Thankyou Antonio Gates for finally showing up when I needed you most. He's back to being a top 5 TE each week. Glad I never gave up on him. I'm sure a lot of people benched him this week.

benched him but no way I could start him in front of Kyle Rudolph. I recently got Gates in a trade for Martellus Bennett. (Whole trade was Bennett and Leshoure for Murray, VJax, and Gates

Are you serious? that trade is a joke. That might be the most unfair trade I've ever seen.

I'm usually not one to veto, but I'd veto the hell out of that trade. Take out Murray and that trade would MAYBE be fair.

trade was originally Mike Williams, Gates, and Murray for Leshoure and Bennett (after Leshoure went off against TEN and Bennett was scoring every game) and I wanted VJax instead and he went for it!

Still a horrible trade. Just because Mikel Leshoure had 19 fantasy points in his first game doesn't automatically make him a RB1.

Let me guess, the guy on the other end of that trade knows little to nothing about football. No one who knows football would make that trade.

DeMarco = Low-End RB1/High End RB2
Gates = TE1
VJax = HighEnd WR2

Bennett = TE2 (I don't care how good he started, we all knew at some point he had to come back down to earth_
LeShoure = Low-End RB2/Flex Play

Just don't see how it even comes close to adding up.

I thought about benching him, but don't have a back-up TE on that team and it was slim pickings on the waiver wire, glad I stuck with him! I needed Peyton to go 300yds and 3TD's and Gates to have a big game to win. Unbelievable come from behind win on Monday night! Still undefeated in that league!

league of the same guys playing together for close to 10 years now. The owner is a decent owner, but I think you forget the hype surrounding Leshoure after that first week against Tenny. Gates was an injury risk and not producing jack, ditto for Murray. Bennett looked like the real deal. I can see why he made the trade, but I got a great deal
