I have McFadden on one of my teams and to say he is underperforming is an understatement. Should I trade him or hold on to him?

Depends on what you can get for him. I have him too. He's kind of like feast or famine.

As a Chris Johnson owner Chris Johnson is still this year's Chris Johnson.

True. He had a good week last week though, so maybe he's coming around?

I was thinking of trying to trade for him. I need a better Week 6 and Week 8 BYE Week fill-in. Right now, I have C.Benson/B.Tate for that role.

I figured he would be a beast in PPR, after that 13 catch game against the Chargers, but not so much.

I've watched pretty much every Raiders game except for the Miami game. Oakland's O-line just isn't giving him any running lanes. Don't know if is the zone blocking scheme or the personal, but McFadden is getting hit either at the line of scrimmage or just a yard or two past the line of scrimmage. Also doesn't help that Oakland is usually trailing because they aren't a good team. Teams are also stacking the box, knowing that McFadden is the only offensive player that can do much. Oakland needs DHB back, but even DHB won't help too much. Oakland badly needs to get a legit WR next year to take some pressure off the running game.

McFadden has the potential to put up monster numbers against soft defensive fronts, but when he faces tough opponents, it just seems like Oakland's line gets dominated at the line of scrimmage.

I'd still like to see Oakland involve McFadden more in the passing game. Sure he gets a lot of check downs, but I'm talking about screen passes and set plays to get him in space.

I know he is averaging like 3 yards a carry and he got his money

I traded away Chris Johnson and he went off... I am still 4-0 and leading the league in points, but going to be pissed if that starts him up for the rest of the year

It's still too early in the season to make a determination
